Giro Classico dei Pretendenti
Dear Pretenders,
Spread the word! Its the The Pretender's Tour -- the annual 'classic' end-of-season challenge of five rides over five consecutive days over the extended Thanksgiving Day weekend. Already loosing fitness? Then this is the perfect kickstart to your off season training program. Again this year, weather permitting, we will transfer out of the state for one mountain stage in the hills west of Philadelphia. Otherwise we will generally stick to our favorite South Jersey roads with a few twists to keep things interesting. Pace will typically be 18-22 mph with a few breakaways and we will regroup as necessary. You need not ride all 5 days to participate.

'Mountain' stage -- Philadelphia, Bala Cynwyd, Gladwyne, Conshohoken, Manyunk, Philadelphia. Eight great climbs of .5 - 1.5 miles in length at grades of 6% to19% plus the optional Manyunk Wall. We will regroup after each climb. One short stop.

Meet: Costco Parking Lot, 100 Centerton Rd, Mt. Laurel, NJ (Centerton Square shopping center east of Moorestown. Same start location as the regular Sunday Costco ride.)
