Bob Janssen, a fellow cyclist is currently bravely fighting ALS. Some of you may know Bob and/or Melissa Jansen, since both have been in the cycling community for years.
Bob and Melissa married in 1999 and are proud parents of two ten year old daughters, Paris and Arabella. The Trek/Volkswagen East Factory Mountain Biking team signed Bob and Melissa in 1998. Bob is an accomplished cyclist and has won the NJ State Time Trial 40+; NJ State Criterium Champion – CAT 3; Mt. Washington Auto Road Hill Climb Champion 40+; and NJ State Master Road Race - Silver Medal. He won many triathlons and duathlons.
